International educational experts are set to take part in Effat University's 9th Learning and Technology Conference to be held on Dec. 12-13, 2011. Since creative learning is an aim Effat University hopes to achieve, the theme of the conference has been titled “Learning by Design: Purpose, Art & Motion”. Dr. Haifa Reda Jamalallail, President of Effat University, said the university is advocating the “smart step” to develop future learners as proactive human beings who help their communities with positive social contributions. This year's conference plan is to promote a vision of purposefully designed education broadened by art, motion, and technology. Learning has moved beyond the walls of the physical classroom. Keynote speakers include Dr. Rob Reilly, President of IEEE Education Society, USA, Jennifer Corriero of Taking IT Global, Canada, and Mohamed Essaidi of IEEE Education, Morocco. The conference aims to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, experience and creative ideas among researchers, academicians, professors, educational scientists and technologists, industry and companies in all areas of education and technology. Effat University invites individuals and institutions to submit papers related to the theme of the conference. __
