Manchester City player Carlos Tevez of Argentina (L) is driven from the club's training complex at Carrington in Manchester Thursday. — Reuters MANCHESTER – Manchester City says Carlos Tevez will face a disciplinary hearing over alleged breach of contract after apparently refusing to come off the bench during a Champions League match. The Argentina striker was initially handed a two-week ban by City but was told by the club to report to training. However, the club said Wednesday an investigation found that “there is a case for Carlos Tevez to answer of alleged breaches of contract.” City said Tevez has been told he will face disciplinary proceedings. According to Mancini, he instructed Tevez to come off the bench with around 35 minutes of the game to go and the player refused. The Italian also said Tevez was “finished” at City while he was manager. Eto'o linked with move to Inter Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o has been linked with a move back to Inter Milan, just two months after he left the club in a big-money move to Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Eto'o has approached Inter about a possible loan move back to the nerazzurri during the Russian winter break, which lasts from November to March. Eto'o was back in Milan for a visit during the international break and went shopping in Milan's chic commercial area with his wife. The newspaper claims he could sign a loan deal similar to the one that brought David Beckham to AC Milan during the Major League Soccer (MLS) off-season in the United States. It says Eto'o could play for two months in January and February once the transfer window opens again on Jan. 2 before returning to his club Anzhi for the start of the new Russian season on March 3. However, La Gazzetta also claims, perhaps hopefully, that the deal would cost Inter nothing. Eto'o moved to Anzhi on a salary reported to be 20-million euros a year, a sum Inter could not afford.
