The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will soon unveil the approved design of the new Abha International Airport. The airport will be constructed by a specialist company that has built similar projects all over the world. “The lounge area is 62,000 square meters and includes a lavish reception center and a commercial complex with space for exhibitions and markets,” said Khaled Al-Khaibari, GACA spokesman. “The designs include lounges that will serve a capacity of five million passengers, four million of whom will be domestic passengers. The cargo department itself will be able to hold 10,000 tons of goods.” __
