Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee has approved setting up a chair in his name to study pilgrim housing in Makkah, Madina and the holy sites. “The chair will be financed by Tawafa establishments and supervised by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Haj Research, affiliated with Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Fouad Bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsy, Minister of Haj, said in a statement. Several meetings will be held to prepare a complete study based on the regulations and standards of scientific research chairs at academic institutions in order to reach a complete perception of the mission and vision of the chair and the goals it seeks to achieve and ways to achieve them, Dr. Al-Farsy added. The goals will focus on improving the performance of accommodation services as per the directives of the government, he explained.
