About 200 local and international specialized companies are scheduled to participate in the second International Forum on Petrochemistry in Al-Raka area on Oct. 9. The three-day event is being organized by the Dhahran International Exhibitions Company. Petrochemistry pioneers from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, China, USA, Germany, Norway, Italy, United Kingdom, Korea, Spain and France will introduce the latest technologies for manufacturing chemical substances, safety and security systems, oil extraction vehicles, machines, power generators, and measurement and control devices, as well as the development of logistic services for petrochemistry and water distribution networks management. The event will include the discussion of more than 40 working papers delivered by an elite group of specialists and researchers from the Kingdom and abroad, with most of them focusing on the challenges facing the sector in the next ten years given the mega projects which both SABIC and Saudi Aramco have scheduled for completion during that time.
