Nasair celebrated National Day in the Kingdom by transporting passengers free of charge on all its scheduled domestic flights on the occasion. On Friday, all passengers on Nasair domestic flights linking Riyadh, Jeddah, Madina, Dammam, Abha and Jizan traveled at no cost, Al-Hayat reported. To create an air of celebration, Nasair received passengers on the flights with Arabian hospitality and generosity, and offered them dates and Arabian coffee during procedures at the airports to issue boarding passes; children were given green balloons with the Saudi national emblem and flag. The airline also gave passengers free drinks and sweets, which helped make the flights become celebrations of National Day. Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Executive President of the National Company for Air Services, Nasair's parent company, said, “Before business and profits, there is respect and pride for the nation. Nasair is extremely proud that it is a Saudi national carrier, though we don't get the support the big carrier, Saudia, gets. Despite the odds, Nasair is serving and giving back to the nation and its good people.”
