Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, said Friday that the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a historic occasion that is dear to the hearts of everyone. In a speech on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day, the Crown Prince highlighted the country's safety, security, development and stability under the leadership of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Crown Prince Sultan said that since its foundation, the Kingdom has mobilized all its resources to serve the nation and its citizens. This goal was achieved thanks to the dedication of the leadership and the sincerity of the citizens, he said. The Crown Prince highlighted the country's investment in education and training. Underlining the Kingdom's religious and political influence, economic power and strategic location, he said the leadership takes utmost care of the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques. He said the Kingdom works to achieve world peace and security, and gives top priority to resolve the Palestinian issue so as to restore the rights of the Palestinian people and establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital. Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, said that the 81st anniversary of the National Day is a distinguished mark of the country. “This nation has every reason to feel proud of this day,” he said.
