Dr. Khaled Bin Muhammad Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education, earlier in the week attended a graduation ceremony for 710 Saudi students who earned scholarships and studied in Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Al-Anqari told the graduates he was happy to see the great achievements made by Saudi students abroad and said the graduates had been educated in a world-class learning environment. “We didn't choose Canada haphazardly,” he said. “We chose it because of its educational advantages.” Graduates expressed happiness over achieving their dreams. Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his hope that students will contribute to their country when they go back home. The Dean of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada said the graduates will contribute to the development of their country and other countries around the world. The ceremony was attended by Osama Al-Sanousi, Saudi ambassador to Canada, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Mousa, Undersecretary of Ministry of Higher Education for Scholarship Affairs. Al-Sanousi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the accompanying delegation for its patronage. __
