About 1.2 million voters throughout the Kingdom will choose from among 5,609 candidates who are getting ready to launch their campaigns for seats on municipal councils. Eleven stages of the municipal elections have been completed and the Elections General Committee is getting ready to launch the last four stages, which will take place between Sept. 17 and Oct. 1. The 12th stage, announcing final lists of candidates, is set for Sept. 17; the 13th stage gives them the right to launch campaigns that will continue until Sept. 28; and the 14th stage focuses on the voting day, Sept. 29. Election results will be announced on Oct. 1, in the 15th and last stage of the second round of the municipal elections. __
