Civil Defense: Pray in nearby mosques

Civil Defense is urging residents – citizens and expatriates – in Makkah to perform their prayers in the nearby mosques and avoid crowding the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The Civil Defense made the request in an SMS saying the Haram and its courtyards are already full with worshippers. Maj. Gen. Adel Zamzami, Director General of Civil Defense, said these messages ask people to pray in mosques near their homes because the whole of Makkah is within the Haram zone.
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Aal Al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, has denied that there is any special reward for performing Umrah on the 27th night. __
