The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance has readied a number of large grounds and major mosques for the performance of Eid Al-Fitr prayer by citizens and residents of Jeddah and the surrounding governorates. These places have been equipped with all provisions with the completion of their maintenance works and facilities, said Fuhaid Bin Mohammad Al-Barqi, Director General of Awqaf (Endowments) and Mosques in the governorate. Imams and muezzins have been assigned in advance to provide them sufficient time for making necessary arrangements. Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Madra'a, Director General of Awqaf (Endowments), Mosques, Call and Guidance in Taif Governorate, said his organization began early preparations to make all arrangements for performing Eid prayers in large prayer grounds in Khalidiyah, Radaf, Qaim and Hawaiyah in addition to 63 major mosques. In Buraidah, Sheikh Mouteq Bin Abdulrahman Al-Mouteq said his department completed elaborate arrangements and equipped eight large grounds and 63 mosques to enable citizens and residents to perform the Eid prayer. He said every year the department makes intensive efforts and coordinates all necessary preparations in the last ten days of Ramadan to be ready for facilitating the Eid prayer in collaboration and direct supervision of Sheikh Suleiman Bin Ali Al-Daley, Director General of the Qassim branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance.
