The Saudi Company for Recruitment in Riyadh will bring together 55 smaller companies and will have a capital of SR200 million, according to Saad Bin Nihar Al-Badah, Chairman of the National Committee for Recruitment and Chairman of the company's constituent committee. Al-Badah revealed these details in a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) after a meeting of the company's founders this week at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He said the company will be headquartered in Riyadh and will open 26 branches across the Kingdom. There will be two branches in every region. He said the company will recruit mostly trained housemaids, male servants and drivers. He said the company will reimburse a sponsor if an employee runs away or does not want to work for him. The company will immediately replace the worker without charging any extra fees. He said the mega recruitment companies are working on a system which will allow an employer to determine the employment period of a housemaid or driver. The Saudi Company for Recruitment in Riyadh is one of a number of mega recruitment companies being set up across the country to oversee the recruitment of foreign workers.
