Scholars should set aside their differences and unitedly fight against the enemies of Islam, Prince Bandar Bin Salman Bin Mohammed, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Chairman of the Dawah Committee in Africa, said. Addressing a gathering of 40 scholars and preachers representing 40 African countries, Prince Bandar said, “All Muslims are preachers of Almighty Allah and His religion. We take pride in being Muslims. We thank Him for the blessings of Islam.” The scholars and preachers were participating in the organization's 20th meeting hosted by the Islamic University of Madina. Addressing the scholars, most of them graduates of the university, the Prince stressed that preachers should overcome their differences for the betterment of the Ummah and counter the nefarious designs of the anti-Islam forces. Dr. Muhammad Bin Ali Al-Ugla, President of the Islamic University, said Muslims should avoid acts of sedition. “Muslims who kill fellow Muslims violate Islamic laws,” he added. Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Loh, Dean of the African College for Islamic Studies, who is a graduate of the Islamic University in Madina, said preachers in Africa are committed to spreading the message of Islam. The Islamic University of Madina is distinguished both by its religious location and by the fact that it represents a center for the collection, preservation, and dissemination of Islamic heritage. The university campus is characterized by the integration of teaching and living spaces organized around a hierarchy of courts.
