Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbe revealed she loved the Ramadan Fanoos (lantern) since a young age. She wrote on her “nas.mbc.net” blog that she reminisces about lanterns although they are not abundant in Lebanon. Noting that she spent her young years living the Egyptian way, since her mother was Egyptian and made sure to gift her a lantern yearly and always hung one at the door. The Lebanese singer expressed her happiness in Cairo's streets during Ramadan, as it becomes a carnival of colors and lights.
