Ghufais, Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), has announced that both the private and public sectors would employ TVTC graduates in positions suiting their field of study. At the inauguration of a workshop for technical training here Monday, Al-Ghufais said the corporation will apply a quarterly training system for the next 25 years starting next year, Al-Hayat said. He said the number of trainees would be increased by 300 percent in accordance with the corporation's new system, adding that the Labor Ministry's plan includes a clear mechanism for future training programs. The corporation's latest annual report showed that 59.9 percent of its students are in technical colleges, 11.6 percent in industrial institutes, 5 percent in commercial institutes, 2 percent in agricultural institutes, 2.7 percent in technical observers institutes, and 20.1 percent in vocational training centers. __
