Saudi Arabian Airlines has flown a record 20,978 passengers on 192 flights to Paris over the first six months of this year, a 31 percent or 4,940 increase compared to the same period last year. Fahd Al-Huwaifi, director of the airline in France, Spain and Portugal, said the Paris office exceeded its target by five percent and achieved a 98 percent performance rating in terms of punctuality of flights. He said this summer the airline is running eight Airbus-330 flights every week to-and-from Paris and are providing 14,300 seats for the period from June 26 to Aug. 6, an increase of 8,800 seats compared to last year. Al-Huwaifi said that linking reservations services in France to the unified Europe reservation center in Amman “had a positive impact on ensuring the best services for Saudi Arabian Airlines' clients since the summer season started”. The center receives calls for reservations in French, Arabic and English seven days a week from 7 A.M. to 11 P.M. Previously the calls were received from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. The transfer of the airlines' office from Building 1 at Charles de Gaulle Airport to Building 2C at the beginning of this year helped ease the arrival and departure of its passengers, he added.
