Simon-Almagro final Gilles Simon of France rallied to beat Mikhail Youznhy of Russia 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 Saturday to set up a German Open final against Nicolas Almagro. Almagro defeated fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 6-4, 6-1. The fifth-seeded Simon will be looking for his second title of the year in Sunday's final against the third-seeded Almagro. The two have split their previous two matches, but Almagro won the one on clay. Simon, who won in Sydney in January, lost his first seven matches against Youzhny but has now beaten him twice this year. Simon served six aces and saved 10 of 13 break points against the fourth-seeded Russian. All-Russian final Vera Zvonareva defeated Ukraine's Mariya Koryttseva 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday to reach an all-Russian final at the Baku Cup. Zvonareva will take on Ksenia Pervak on Sunday, after the seventh-seeded Russian defeated Galina Voskoboeva of Kazakhstan 1-6, 6-0, 6-2. Koryttseva won just four points in the first five games against Zvonareva, but settled down and earned a break after forcing a forehand error.
