Ban on vegetables from EU lifted

The Ministry of Agriculture has lifted the ban on European Union (EU) fresh vegetables, but the ban remains on Germany. The ministry said it has checked the safety of EU products from reports published on official websites and concluded that they are safe except for vegetables produced in Germany. A temporary ban was imposed on vegetable imports from the EU about two months ago because of the outbreak of E.coli food poisoning.
