Augustus steers Lynx past Mercury

Seimone Augustus scored a season high 25 points as the Minnesota Lynx pulled away for a 106-98 victory over Phoenix Wednesday, ending the Mercury's six-game winning streak. Lindsay Whalen had 16 points. Diana Taurasi scored 24 points for Phoenix. At Washington, Angel McCoughtry scored a season-high 33 points to help Atlanta get its first road win since June 14. Lindsey Harding had 14 points. Atlanta's last road win was against the New York Liberty before going on a three-game road skid. Crystal Langhorne had 24 points for the Mystics.
