actress Carole Samaha revealed that after learning Sabah's secrets through the series “El Shahroura”, her love for Sabah grew stronger. Carole wrote on her blog on “nas.mbc.net” that she was intimidated by Sabah's character, which is why she initially turned down the role. The actress added that after reading the script she decided to accept the challenge. She posted: “I studied the script and came in close contact with this wonderful artist, who faced many challenges in her life but eventually triumphed over.” Carole announced that the filming of “El Shahroura” wrapped up after months of extensive work and filming challenges. She added: “I have given my best and I hope that the viewers will receive it well.” The series' script was written by Fida Al Shandweel and directed by Ahmed Shafiq.
