Men who receive a positive colon cancer test are more likely to die from the disease than women who are diagnosed with the condition, according to a new study conducted by the National Cancer Institute. After examining national data from patients diagnosed with various forms of cancer, the researchers found that 1.42 men died from colon cancer for every one woman. Additionally, the results showed that men are at greater danger from several other types of tumors, including lung, pancreatic and liver cancers.
