Silabay was aided by the quartet of Francis Alquiros (593), brothers Ruel Santoc (583) and Arnold Santoc (577) and Oca Bernabe (421). The back-to-back remarkable effort won them Team of the Week award along with free meals from City Restaurant of Ms. Ely Sy. Golden Saba's Abdullah San Pedro and Eugene Delfin directed the defense of the Ernie Geslani team. Saudia Prime Lane Armors also harvested 20 points at the expense of Bowling City is Fun. The Armors was full of energy in routing Bowling City is Fun 2,873 and 2,756. The Armors relied through their valiant spinner Archie Santos who burned the lanes with scores of 196, 172 and 217 in 3-game series. Santos was nicely backed up by Raffy Masiglat (577), Melvin Lising (574) and female bowler Nurissa Ramos (571). Mohammad Salem (566) and Dennis Arevalo (560) did their best to revive Bowling City is Fun. Artistic Bowlers subdued The Champ-Poy 16-4. The exciting race was dominated by Juli with her rounds of 205, 182 and 200 for a total score of 587. The tandem of Hani Al-Torki and Adnan Althiga registered 1,153 total output w/hdcp to guarantee victory for Adnan Althiga's team. Janice Bengco and Cesar Paran of The Champ-Poy soundly responded to Artistics' charge but the duo's struggle faded with their loss to the all-Saudi team with the scores ending at 2,827-2,766. Cobra Team, with its superior lineup, humbled the strong contingent of Waraynon Habagat. Amro Al-Amri produced games of 225 and Marwan Mahmoud 221 in the first outing to lead Cobra Team. Sulaiman Ibrahim's 578 was on top for Cobra Team. Piloted by Cloyd Opena with 607 points, Shawly Bowlers conquered the sluggish Luvenor 12-8. The contest was highlighted by Opena's rounds of 168, 197 and 179. Opena's effort won him Kanny Male Bowler of the Week award. TC Joel Nidoy sparkled for Luvenor with 572 points with 201 scratch in Game 3. Fireball Team defied the challenge of the Romblomanon. __
