RIYADH: Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, has commended the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) for its efforts and keenness on attracting Kuwaiti tourists and its organization of programs to attract tourists to the Kingdom's provinces and villages. Following his recent visit to Furasan Island, the Kuwaiti ambassador in a letter addressed to Prince Sultan Bin Salman, SCTA President, expressed his appreciation for the prominent role that Prince Sultan has played in the development of the Kingdom's provinces into world tourist attractions, in accordance with the directives and the great support provided for the Commission by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier. Sheikh Hamad expressed his admiration for what he had seen in Furasan Island saying that it was the equal of many of the world's tourist islands.
