MADINA: An Arab expatriate who killed his wife by pouring gasoline on her and setting her on fire confessed to Madina Police investigators before being referred Monday to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP), officials said. There were indications at the scene of the fire that the husband was involved in the crime, despite his attempts to mislead investigators, said Lt. Col. Khaled Mubarak Al-Jihani, a Civil Defense spokesman. The 29-year-old Arab woman received severe burn injuries and died at King Fahd Hospital soon after being taken there, officials have said. Observations led investigators to question the man, who admitted that he poured gasoline on his life partner and set her on fire due to an acute family dispute.
