The Consul General of Pakistan, Zaigham Uddin Azzam, met with Chairman and Governor of the board of directors of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Amr Abdullah Al-Dabbagh to discuss future investment in the Kingdom. Azzam said the Pakistani government is “impressed by the performance of SAGIA under (Al-Dabbagh's) leadership and has asked the economic ministries of Pakistan to study the Kingdom's model for (economic) implementation,” according to a statement released by the Pakistani Consulate. Under the guidance of King Abdullah, Dabbagh said, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has improved its position in the world market as a potential investment opportunity moving from its original position of 98 to 23. The Consul General told the Governor that Pakistan would like to send a delegation to the Kingdom in order to investigate any potential investment opportunities. At the end of the meeting it was decided the delegation would visit after Ramadhan to meet with SAGIA officials to discuss and study investment opportunities in the Kingdom. __
