A committee from the Health Directorate in Najran has started an investigation on medical waste found at a location in Sakhiy Valley. Several primary school students had discovered the medical waste in bags marked “highly infectious” in Wadi Sakhiy, Al-Watan had published on Tuesday. Saleh Ali Aal Dheebah, Director of Public Relations and Health Information, said that the Director General of Health Affairs in Najran Region, Dr. Dhafer Bin Sa'eed Mattar has delegated a committee formed of the Follow-up, Supply, Preventive Medicine and public relations administrations to check the site. The location has been cleaned and all waste has been sent to a waste disposal area for destruction. – Al
