DAMMAM: Companies which fail to meet Saudization quotas – those in the red and yellow categories – will no longer have visas issued for their workers after three months. This is the stipulation announced in the “Zones Program” which came into force Saturday, said Ahmad Al-Obied, Director of the Labor Office in Dammam. He said the system rewards companies and establishments classified in the green and excellent groups, which have met Saudization quotas, with several incentives. He said the system has seen 50 percent of companies achieve Saudization quotas while 20 percent have barely met the criteria. The rest of the companies are way behind the quotas.
