80,000 porn CDs seized in Dammam

The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice seized about 80,000 pornographic CDs from a shop in Waqif market here on Wednesday.
Five people were also arrested for possessing and trading in these obscene CDs, Eastern Province police spokesman, Colonel Yousuf Al-Qahtani, said.
In Jeddah, police raided an alcohol and hashish joint run in a house in Al-Sharfiyah District.
Meanwhile, Yanbu Police arrested a gang dealing in alcohol. The members of the gang masqueraded as car washers. An undercover officer busted the gang and in subsequent raids large quantity of alcohol was seized and destroyed. (With reports from Ibrahim Alawi and Hassan Al-Solami – Okaz) __
