Saudi national Ayesha Bakr Ibrahim, who gave birth to a baby girl while traveling aboard the Saudi Railway Organization train from Al-Ahsa to Riyadh, was given lifetime free travel. The baby was also given the same privilege. The decision to provide lifetime free ticket to baby Rua' Abdul Aziz Fallatha and her mother was decided recently during a meeting of board of directors of SRO chaired by Minister of Transportation Dr. Jubarah Al-Suraiseri, according SRO public relations officer Muhammed Abu Said. “The gesture to provide lifetime free travel to baby Rua and her mother is a manifestation of how SRO values its citizens; that SRO's services is for all to enjoy,” said Abu Said. Female co-travelers of Ayesha helped her deliver the baby after she felt labor pains while traveling. Mother and baby were taken to a hospital in Riyadh in an ambulance arranged by the railway station authorities there. Ayesha's husband was waiting for her and Baby Rua' at the station. __
