TAIF: A government employee charged with kidnapping and raping a married Saudi woman has denied all charges against him, officials said. The woman insists that she knows the man and that he kidnapped and raped her. She stressed that she also knows his apartment and car, which led security officers to take the young man into custody despite test results showing she was not sexually assaulted, officials said. During conversations with the young Saudi woman over the past two days, she claimed the young man took her by surprise when she was entering a shopping center, sprayed her face with a sedative, bundled her into his car, drove her to an apartment in Al-Aqeeq District, raped her and returned her to the shopping center's parking lot, according to sources. The accused man and the owner of the apartment where the alleged incident took place are being held pending completion of the investigation. The apartment owner said he gave the key to his friend because he said he wanted to purchase some furniture from the woman and stressed that he knows nothing about any kidnapping or rape, according to sources. Security sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that the case would be referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution and that it will investigate all the parties.
