Published in The Saudi Gazette on 18 - 05 - 2011

the exclusive importer of Porsche cars in Saudi Arabia – is getting ready for the opening of two integrated centers for Porsche cars. The team is currently completing the final touches on its new iconic Porsche Center at King Road in Jeddah as well as that of a similar Porsche Center located at Dammam-Al-Khobar road in the Eastern Region. The move is part of SAMACO's strategic expansion plan to provide exceptional services to its customers Kingdom-wide by opening integrated facilities that combine three business aspects: sales, after-sales and spare parts stock. Both centers have special sector for selling Porsche design driver selection (personal accessories).
The 7,000-square meter integrated facility in Jeddah consists of a main showroom, administration offices, a maintenance section, a fully equipped quick service center, and a spare parts warehouse. The new after-sales service area is fully integrated and includes separate areas for the repairing of engines and gearboxes, special tools and equipment along with a dedicated part for technical diagnosis via online after-sales systems with connection to Porsche headquarters in Southern Germany.
The second new Porsche Center dedicated for customers' need in the Eastern region represents constructional masterpiece. Located at Dammam-Al-Khobar Road, it consists of a fully C.I. compliant showroom, a sophisticated service area as well as a spare parts facility to reduce potential waiting times to a minimum.
Sherein Nassef, general manager of Porsche in Saudi Arabia, said: "The new Porsche facilities in the Kingdom are strategically situated to offer highest levels of services to our Porsche customers. The new and extremely spacious Porsche Center in Jeddah will be a benchmark for local automotive businesses."
He added: "In order to be able to pay special attention to our clients, we will open these centers that offer fully integrated services right from car sales and before- and after-sales services to the timely availability of spare parts. I am looking forward to the official opening which will soon take place after finalizing the last touches to match the high standards and luxury of our products."
