day 2nd Saudi Exhibition for Job Opportunities and Training, kicked off here Sunday, offers more than 10,000 jobs to young Saudi men and women, and people with special needs, said Dr. Abdullah Bin Juluwi Al-Shaddadi, chairman of the event's organizing committee. Al-Shaddadi said that the companies participating in the exhibition, organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, would directly employ job-seekers visiting the event. About 100 private-sector establishments are present and a directory of open positions helps people choose positions that suit them, he added. Organizers have laid down priorities for employing and training people with special needs, Al-Shaddadi said. Abdul Rahman Al-Jeraisi, chairman of the RCCI Board of Directors, said the government is focused on the employment, training and development of Saudi human resources and preparing them for the labor market. The RCCI is organizing the gathering because “our national human resources are our real non-depleting wealth for the society unlike other natural resources,” he said. Al-Jeraisi said the Saudi Exhibition for Job Opportunities and Training is in line with this vision and in response to these efforts that form an important step on the long road to achieving national goals.
