MILAN: Inter Milan reached the Italian Cup final with a 1-1 draw at home to Roma Wednesday to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate. Following an insipid first half Samuel Eto'o broke the deadlock midway through the second half. Marco Borriello pulled a goal back for Roma with 14 minutes to go, but it wasn't enough to inspire a fightback. Inter captain Javier Zanetti was playing his 1000th competitive match as a professional and received a trophy to mark the occasion before the match. Inter will meet Palermo in the final at Rome's Olympic Stadium on May 29. Villarreal clinches fourth place Barcelona celebrated its third straight Spanish league title Wednesday evening on the very same pitch where the Catalan club began its current run of unparalleled successes seven years ago. Barcelona's 1-1 draw at Levante earned the club its fifth league crown since 2005 and its 21st in its 111-year history. Elsewhere, Hercules will join Almeria in the second division next season after it drew 2-2 with Mallorca. Villarreal clinched fourth place and a spot in the qualifying round for the Champions League after drawing 0-0 at already relegated Almeria. Mikel Aranburu's 89th-minute winner lifted Real Sociedad 2-1 over Zaragoza, which remained in 18th-place and one point from safety. Third-place Valencia drew 2-2 at Espanyol, which remained three points out of the Europa League positions. Osasuna came from behind to beat Sevilla 3-2 to move five points clear of the drop. UEFA charges Busquets UEFA has charged Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets with racially insulting Real Madrid defender Marcelo during the Champions League semifinals. UEFA says its disciplinary panel will hear the case Sunday. Busquets is alleged to have violated UEFA's discrimination rules “by directing racist abuse toward” Marcelo, who is black.
