NEW DELHI: Australia's Shane Warne was mired in fresh trouble Thursday after a complaint was lodged with the Indian Premier League (IPL) about the bowling legend's alleged abusive behavior, reports said. Warne, captain of the Rajasthan Royals IPL team, was involved in an angry bust-up with Sanjay Dixit, secretary of the Rajasthan state cricket association, following his team's defeat at home to Bangalore Wednesday. The incident took place in full public view minutes after the post-match prize distribution ceremony at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. “Venue director Narendra Joshi has written to IPL's chief operating officer Sunder Raman, alleging that Warne had publicly abused Dixit and demanded action against the Australian,” the Press Trust of India news agency said. Warne was apparently upset over the playing surface that was selected for Rajasthan's last two matches against Chennai and Bangalore, both of which the home side lost. Dixit said Warne had been putting pressure on him to provide a “suitable” wicket for Rajasthan's home matches. Dhoni lifts Chennai over Delhi Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni cracked an unbeaten 63 off only 31 balls to propel defending champion Chennai Super Kings to an 18-run win over Delhi Daredevils in the IPL Thursday. Dhoni smashed four sixes and five fours, adding 96 for the third wicket with Subramaniam Badrinath (55) to help Chennai score a formidable 176-4. Delhi, without regular captain and opener Virender Sehwag due to a shoulder injury, could manage only 158-6. The win lifted Chennai to co-lead with MumbaiIndians, which has played one game less. Delhi is out of contention for the playoffs. Brief scores: Chennai Super Kings 176-4 in 20 overs (MS Dhoni 63 not out, S. Badrinath 55, M.
