MADINA: Six Indian Umrah pilgrims and their Egyptian driver were killed in a bus accident on Madina Road Wednesday, 145 kilometers from Madina. Another six bus passengers were injured. Preliminary information showed that the bus which was coming from Makkah overturned as a result of the driver's failure to pay attention to the road. Ambulance and first aid teams rushed to the site of the accident and the injured were taken to Al-Humana Hospital where medical and nursing teams had been alerted to their arrival. Medical sources said the injured had bruises and scratches with some of them suffering from deep wounds. The driver, who was seriously injured, died in the hospital's Emergency Room.
