JEDDAH: Etihad Airways has launched a new sales promotion for travelers in Riyadh and Dammam, offering return “coral economy class” air fares with up to 40 percent discount off regular fare prices during the month of May. Esam Abdulhameed Al-Hammadi, Etihad Airways' general manager in Kingdom said the airline launches the special promotion for mark its winning as leading airline in the region at the World Travel Awards. “Last week we were recognized as the Middle East's leading airline at the region's World Travel Awards, so we are very excited to offer these sale fares to complement the win,” he said. “It is designed to help all our UAE based customers choose their perfect holiday or short break during May.” Etihad Airways won four titles at the annual World Travel Awards ceremony for the Middle East held last week at the Armani Hotel Dubai in the Burj Khalifa, including the coveted title as the “Middle East's Leading Airline”. The Abu Dhabi-based airline also received the Middle East's Leading Airline First Class award, Middle East's Leading Cabin Staff award and Middle East's Leading Airline In-flight Entertainment award.
