NEW DELHI: Prolific opener Virender Sehwag was Monday ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League with a shoulder injury, depriving the event of its current top scorer. Sehwag, captain of the Delhi Daredevils franchise, has decided to undergo surgery as soon as possible and could also miss India's tour of the West Indies starting next month. Delhi will be led by Australia's James Hopes in its remaining matches. Sehwag, 32, leads the IPL batting charts with 424 runs from 11 matches. Chennai wins Murali Vijay hit 53 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni cracked a 19-ball 41 not out to set up Chennai Super Kings' 63-run win over Rajasthan Royals in the IPL Monday. Chennai posted 196-3 before bowling Rajasthan out for 133. Mumbai has already made sure of a place in the semifinals with 16 points.
