RIYADH: Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Muhammad Bin Aiyaf, Mayor of Riyadh and chairman of the Local Election Committee, is scheduled to head the committee meeting here Monday. The meeting, the committee's seventh, to discuss the process of elections reflects the group's commitment to following up elections processes, and maintaining the outstanding performance of the city's seven districts, which contain 74 centers receiving people registering as voters, said Abdulrahman Al-Zunaidi, Assistant Mayor for Financial and Administrative Affairs and chairman of the Executive Committee for Municipal Elections in Riyadh. On Sunday, 208 people registered their names in Riyadh, which raised the total to 2,362. The registration period ends on May 19. About 86,400 people registered in the last elections and do not have to register again – unless they moved to another district. On Saturday the Third District in Arrawdha area received the highest number of people registering, 48. The Second District had 43 and the Fourth District had 30.
