Real to play Galaxy on July 16

CARSON, California: Real Madrid will play at the Galaxy for the second straight preseason, meeting the MLS team July 16 in a friendly at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Real Madrid defeated the Galaxy 3-2 last Aug. 7 before a crowd of 89,134 at the Rose Bowl. Several of the Spanish club's players returned from their post-World Cup vacations to join the team. The game is part of a preseason tournament that also includes Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona, the New England Revolution, Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps.
