JEDDAH: Prince Mish'al Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Jeddah, is scheduled to visit Al- Fityan Orphan House, part of the Al-Bir Charity Foundation. The visit, set to take place Sunday, aims to follow up on monitoring the orphans' conditions and support organization. Mazen Mohammed Batterjee, president of the Board of Directors at Al-Bir, said the visit reflects officials' support for charity in the Kingdom, which reflects positively on the society. According to Batterjee, Prince Mish'al will inspect the different sections of the Orphan House and learn about the orphans' achievements. “Without the support of Saudi society through generous charity and the supervision of Prince Mish'al, the organization would not have reached great success in the past few years,” he said. “The organization provides assistance, social services, educational services, and cultural and health help through opening charity clinics and dialysis centers.” The organization focuses on establishing markets for family products under the theme of supporting productive families, in addition to conducting research and scientific studies, and providing social services, education and seminars, lectures and charity evenings, said Batterjee.
