DAMMAM: A foreign woman was rescued by a Frontier Guards patrol when her rubber boat stopped working at sea close to Ras Tanoura on Friday. Col. Muhammad Saeed Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the Frontier Guards in the Eastern Province, said the Command and Control Center at the Frontier Guard received a call for help from an eyewitness. They rushed to the scene and towed the boat to shore. Al-Ghamdi said the Frontier Guards also saved two picnickers whose boat was swept away by the waves in Khafji. It also intervened and prevented three men from swimming in a restricted area by using a rubber boat.
