Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Jordan Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Salih said that Saudi aid to Syrian refugees has greatly helped alleviate the suffering of our Syrian brothers. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, he revealed that the total donations in cash and kind provided by the National Campaign to support the brothers in Syria reached 779,099,448 riyals noting that the cost of the programs and projects implemented by the campaign to date in Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon reached 593,530,376 riyals. He explained that the Saudi National Campaign has provided 3,565 caravans for Syrian refugees in addition to the approval of provision of another 1,000 Caravan as well as 6,790 fireproof tents of the size 66a and 12 large-sized tents. Al-Salih added that the campaign has hired 500 apartments for the Syrian refugees with payment of the costs of water and electricity. As for food, clothes and heating, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Jordan said that the campaign has begun distributing food aid since 2012 and is still going on in ascending order in terms of the quantities offered in addition to clothes and 3150 heaters. Ambassador Alsahlih said that 13 relief land convoys with total number of trucks reaching 567 were sent to the refugees in addition to nine medical clinics in Alzaatri camp and the 22 clinics field hospital.
