National Commission for Fighting Corruption (Nazaha) confirmed that the national program for supporting the jobless citizens (Hafez) applied by Ministry of Labor after the issue of the royal decree for supporting the jobless citizens has not achieved the aid adoption objective; in addition to that the Ministry itself has not achieved Employment Strategy targets issued by the cabinet. The commission has raised its report in this regard to His Royal Highness Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Nazaha's report for the financial year 1433-1434 Hijri noted that Ministry of Labor has not achieved Jobless citizens aid adoption objective represented by qualifying the labor force targeted through the aid and providing it with work opportunities in the private sector during the period of payment of the aid consisted of 12 months for which the National program for supporting the job seekers (Hafez) has been established. This action occurred after that the commission followed up the issue with Ministry of Labor through correspondences where it asked it for the information and statistics which prove the procedures performed by the Ministry for implementing the royal decree for supporting the job seekers. The report added that Ministry of Labor has not achieved Employment Strategy targets issued through the Cabinet decision of 1430 Hijri for controlling the unemployment and employing numbers of the male and female citizens (which are) equal to the number of the citizens who are entering into the work market together with a gradual reduction for the number of the expatriate labor force, in spite of the end of the two years representing the short term temporal target for controlling the unemployment.
