Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid and Portugal on Monday won the FIFA Ballon d'Or award as world player of 2013, for the second time in his career. Ronaldo, 28, first won the prestigious award in 2008, after guiding Manchester United to the Champions League. He then had to take second place behind Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Argentina for four years, but has now regained his place at the top of world football.
