As many as 250,000 Saudi nationals have benefited from recruiting services during the correction amnesty offered to violators of Iqama and labor regulations over the last six months, Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, Minister of Labor said today. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the opening ceremony of the 3rd Social Dialogue Forum in Al-Khober today, Faqih also lauded the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and its strategic participation with the Ministry of Labor during the correction campaign for illegal workers in the Kingdom recently, extending special thanks to Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and his crew for making all labor ministry's initiatives a success. Addressing the conferees, Faqih said his ministry is holding the current event under the theme 'Proposed Solutions for Challenges Facing Women's Work', noting that the ministry of labor will continue its method to approach all parties concerned in the issue raised for discussion at the forum. He confirmed that the objective of the dialogue is to listen to view points of all parties to be briefed on the advantages as well as the difficulties and disadvantages which might face implementing any decision, including the work of women and the proposed solutions.
