The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was unanimously chosen by the Arab Justice Ministers Council as honorary President of the council. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Abdullatif bin Abdulrahman Al-Harthi, who is also member of the Higher Judiciary Council, led Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. The meeting accredited nearly 25 guide acts covering all legal fields, a move seen as a real intention to unite Arab legislations in future. Saudi Arabia was elected to this post in recognition of its prominent role in the justice, judicial and legal fields, organizers said.
