Majlis Ashura (Consultative Council), of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has paid homage anew to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the 8th anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the King which falls today. This came during a briefing by the Speaker of the chamber Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh at the outset of today's regular meeting. In a statement, read by the Secretary General of the Shura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amro, the Shura Council considered the 26th of Jumada II of 1426 H. a glittering spot that shines every year to show the Saudi people what marvelous developments took place in their country over the preceding 12 months and for them to offer anew their loyalty and faith to the monarch who is leading their modern renaissance. The statement covered in broad lines the major developments in the fields of politics, infrastructure, education, health, public services, judiciary, human rights, expansion of the two holy mosques, relations with regional and international countries and peoples, Hajj and Umrah services, transportation, housing, telecommunications, technological and industrial activities, cultural and media jumps, agricultural and livestock's strides, sports and youths, females issues, parliamentary affairs, creation of jobs, security and stability, investment inside and outside the Kingdom, etc.
