Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Head of the Saudi Arbitration Team, who is currently visiting Holland, met here today with Peter Tomka, President the International Court of Justice (ICJ). During the meeting, the Prince explained great efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, in order to upgrade arbitration as well as the judiciary. Prince Bandar stressed that the system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is based on Islamic Sharia is flexible and valid for every time and place. The Prince also highlighted the training courses which are prepared for judges inside and outside the Kingdom and ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Prince Bandar pointed out the importance of translating ICJ verdicts and provisions into Arabic language where the two sides agreed to implement this important project.
