Taif Governorate has now more than 150,000 beehives that produce 500 tons of the best kinds of honey every season. A report issued today by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) pointed out that Taif markets have registered record sales of honey in the summer season during the past three months, noting that the winter season of honey entered now and honey is sold in the local markets in Taif. The abundant production of honey in Taif during the past summer has covered the needs of markets. The Governorate's President of Beekeepers Association Muqboul Al-Talhi said that Taif honey is considered one of the best types of honey in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
