The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace here today French President Francois Hollande. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and President Hollande held a meeting during which they discussed the developments on regional and international arenas, particularly the developments in the Palestinian cause as well as the current situation in Syria. The two leaders also discussed prospects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing bilateral relations in all fields. During the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud decorated President Hollande with King Abdulaziz Medal, the highest and most prestigious medal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting and medal decoration ceremony were attended by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Advisor and Special Envoy of the King; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence and Secretary General of the National Security Council; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, Commander of the National Guard; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fozan Al-Rabiah; and Saudi Ambassador to France Dr. Mohammed bin Ismail Al Al-Sheikh. The meeting and medal decoration ceremony were also attended by the French delegation, comprising Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Trade Nicole Bricq, French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bertrand Besancenot and a number of officials.
